Welcome to SGA!
If you’re single, like to play golf and want to have some FUN, you’ve found the right place! We have a great group of members, from all across the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, who enjoy golfing together as well as a variety of other social events throughout the year.
Whether you’re a scratch golfer or a novice, you’re welcome in our group. We schedule at least two golf events each month from March through October – using a variety of formats – on courses all around the Metroplex. All foursomes are mixed with men and women. Scores are figured with informal handicaps (no need to have a USGA handicap), and we play both individual and team events. While nominal prizes are awarded at each tournament, we play more for the fun, friendship and camaraderie. Annual dues are only $35, and those who haven’t played with our group before can play twice without joining to get acquainted, but green fees do apply.
