A New Season of SGA!
Welcome to SGA! It’s a new year and a brand new SGA.
So what’s new with SGA? Well, the group, for one. Starting this year, we’re the Dallas-Fort Worth Social Golf Association. The group is open to anyone who loves to golf – men, women, single or married – and wants to expand their social or golfing network.
Since 1996, this has been the Dallas-Fort Worth Singles Golf Association, an organization for singles who wanted to get together and play golf.
While the name and makeup of the group are the biggest change, we’ve also altered our structure. Where Singles Golf Association traditionally played twice a month March through October, in 2012 we’re playing on the third weekend of each month, starting April 21. The dates are set. We’ll set up the courses and fill in the details soon, so check back!
For a while, you’ll find references to singles and Singles Golf Association here on the website. But rest assured, we’re not just for singles anymore.
What hasn’t changed is our love of the game of golf and our desire to get together and play with friends who share that passion. Come visit us – by yourself or with your friends. Either way, you’ll make friends here with SGA.
